Who we are
The concept of Pjez Unik is a new and refreshing way to introduce art to a bigger audience.
Pjez Unik consists out of 2 parts: an artshop and a gallery in the basement. The artshop offers a broad spectrum of comtemporary art from professional national & international artists, with a diversity of techniques, styles and pricerange. As we like to describe it: "an eclectic harmony".

Artists in the spotlight
Christel Van Hemelrijck
Christel Van Hemelrijck
My abstract paintings are inspired by places that have great significance to me but also by people who have crossed my path. And sometimes I just find inspiration in everyday life.To capture an emotion I use colour and texture. My life has been a roller coaster ride, so I use a wide range of colors to express myself.
Without any artistic training DA AD developed painting and sculpture talents. His style was described by Russian critics as "Primitive-Pop-Art". The Russian authorities censured his erotic works more than once, in spite of his membership of the Russian Painters Collective.
Voluminous characters, stripped of their individuality and looking outside the box, away from the spectator. Happy paintings with warm, greedy characters that enjoy good life, just like the artist. Her figures do not have the perfect body. In the eyes of the public they're the happy people, happy dreamers.
