Exploring the Art World with a Passionate Artist

Bio

For Andreas Zühlke, born in Berlin, photography already occupied a large part of his studies, alongside painting, and his first solo and group exhibitions followed. His range encompasses organic themes, alongside his preference for industrial and urban views, and his choice of AluDibond as a support material allows him to create works with multi-layered transparency.

His unique way of composing primarily architectural photographs with the exclusive AluDibond butler finish constantly creates new perspectives. With the addition of changing light, further details reveal themselves to the viewer. In his new, self-developed double series, this effect is further enhanced, almost conveying the impression of a three-dimensional photographic technique. Through his unique technique, he lets the acrylic glass “float” above the AluDibond panel.

The special aesthetic effect is created by printing on the special AluDibond butler finish substrate. The white portion typically present in an image is replaced by the silver layer of the support. Depending on how the light falls on the image, new variations in the view emerge.

The photographer takes this into account during the capture, thus creating extraordinary and impressive images.

For several years now, he has also made a name for himself as the Pop Art artist SPRAPE, both in painting and sculpture.
