Exploring the Art World with a Passionate Artist

Davide Dall'Osso

SCULPTOR

Bio

Artist Davide Dall’Osso has explored various art forms, finding sculpture as his primary form of expression. This has led him to engage with national and international audiences through installations, exhibitions, collaborations, and displays. He graduated as a prose actor from the Paolo Grassi Civic School of Dramatic Arts in Milan in 1995. After his studies, he collaborated with Colombian director Enrique Vargas, where he experimented with sculpture as a means of creative expression.

In 1997, he was selected with a scholarship for the “Specialization Course for Professional Actors” held by Luca Ronconi at the Teatro Argentina in Rome. There, as a prose actor, he worked with several directors: Piero Maccarinelli, Enrique Vargas, Carlos Martin, Thierry Salmon, Alfredo Arias, Mauro Avogadro, and Luca Ronconi. It is precisely in the performances of Piero Maccarinelli and Enrique Vargas, where the directors create an alchemy between different arts on stage, that Davide Dall’Osso recognizes a sense of belonging that will quickly lead him from acting to sculpture. This connection will lead him, as early as 2002, to be selected alongside a group of six sculptors from the Marche region with the work “Elogio alla fuga,” which will be exhibited in Piazza Olivieri in Pesaro.

In 2014, together with his wife Maria Vittoria Gozio, co-founder and Creative Director, he opened Atelier Dall’Osso snc.
