Working with clay was one of the first techniques that humans learned 20,000 years ago.

Clay is caused by erosion: rain, wind, sun and water cause rocks to break into stones, pebbles,… and finally to become the very small particles that make up clay.

In the pottery oven, soft, pliable clay becomes a hard, permanent, undeformable material. It does not rust, it does not decay … Is destined for eternity, but just as fragile and fragile.

I enjoy kneading clay, creating with it…an idea, a fantasy becomes stone. And therefore visible and tangible.
